Hi, I’m Khes — and this is my studio.

 

Shapes in Space is a one-person furniture and design studio based in Manchester. I make small-batch, customisable furniture that blends clean design with subtle character.

 

Every piece starts and ends in my hands. I design, prototype, machine, hand-finish, and pack everything myself here in the studio. Most items are made to order in small runs, using solid materials, and durable finishes.

 

Before starting Shapes in Space, I worked across furniture and interior design industries. That experience taught me how to turn ideas into solid, lasting work. It still shapes how I approach design today.

Shapes in Space sits somewhere between a design studio and a workshop, where ideas take shape through materials, process, and care. Most products can be adapted to suit your space: you can tweak the size, colour, or materials, or work with me to create something entirely bespoke.
